Man, 68, dies from injuries after motorcycle-SUV collision in Clarington

CLARINGTON, Ont. — A 68-year-old man has died from injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle collision in Clarington, Ont.

Durham Regional Police responded to the collision at Enfield Road and Clarington Concession Road 7 just after 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say witnesses reported the SUV was eastbound on the Concession Road when it pulled out in front of a northbound motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 68-year-old Clarington man, was transported to Lakeridge Health Oshawa hospital where he later died of his injuries. His name is not being released at the request of his family.

The driver of the SUV, a 52-year-old Brampton man, was not injured.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and they want to hear from anyone with information.
