An officer who was injured after trying to stop two motorcycles has been released from hospital, police said.
Officers are now trying to find the motorcyclist and motor bike responsible for the incident.
Police say the officer was hit near High Park on Saturday, just before 6:30 p.m., while attempting to stop two motorcycles that appeared to be speeding. As the bikers approached the officer, police say one allegedly sped up and struck him.
The bikers then fled the scene, police said.
The officer, who has not been identified, was knocked to the ground. He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but later released with bumps and bruising.
The motorcyclist who struck the officer was riding a black Honda CBR 600RR, police say. The bike, which may have red markings, is missing its left rear-view mirror.
Police say the motorcyclist was wearing a dull-black, full-face helmet and leather clothing at the time.
Officers are currently canvassing the area, reviewing surveillance video, and asking the public to be on the lookout for the bike, which may have been abandoned in the area.
