A large truck ended up on its side and hanging over a highway off-ramp in Hamilton on Saturday morning.
The incident happened on the Burlington Street off-ramp of the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) around 11:30 a.m., and was likely caused by a “sharp turn,” according to OPP spokesperson Kerry Schmidt.
There were no injuries to the truck’s driver, but the drivers of a motorcycle and a car using an underpass received minor injuries from falling debris, said Schmidt.
The tractor trailer was hauling scrap metal, which can be seen spilling out of the truck.
Schmidt said the road would be closed for a “couple of hours.”
