Good Samaritans help badly injured motorcyclist in Ont. town

LINCOLN, Ont. – Paramedics say citizens in the town of Lincoln may have saved the life of a man who was badly injured in a motorcycle accident.

The motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle in the town late yesterday afternoon.

The rider suffered a serious leg injury and paramedics say he was bleeding profusely when citizens came to his aid and applied a tourniquet to the wound.

The man was later transported to Hamilton General Hospital.

His injury isn’t considered life-threatening, however, the paramedics said that had he not received help from the Good Samaritans as quickly as he did, he might have died.
