Police in Halton Region are appealing for witnesses to a motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a 25-year-old man.
Police say the man was riding his motorcycle down Winston Churchill Boulevard in Halton Hills, a community west of Toronto, at around 7:09 p.m. on Wednesday evening when he lost control of the bike and veered off the road.
The Maple, Ont., man reportedly slammed into a tree in the Guelph Street and Adamson Street area.
The man, whose has not been identified, was airlifted to Toronto’s Sunnybrook Hospital. Police confirmed he died in hospital early Thursday morning.
Halton Regional Police Service’s collision reconstruction unit has taken over the investigation.
