A 26-year-old man remains in serious collision after his motorcycle was involved in a collision in a car with Mississauga.

Peel police say the collision happened just before 9 p.m. on Thursday, in the intersection of Huntington Ridge Drive and Mavis Road.

The 26-year-old was rushed to Sunnybrook hospital with life-threatening injuries, though his condition has since stabilized.

The driver of the car involved in the collision was not injured.

On Friday morning, Const. Marlene Murphy told that police closed the intersection for several hours while they investigated the collision.
