Pedestrian was pronounced dead in hospital after Tuesday morning incident
Police say a 39-year-old man was arrested and charged after a hit and run killed a pedestrian on Tuesday in Ontario’s Norfolk County.
On Tuesday morning, responders were called to Indian Line and Concession 2 Townsend just after 5 a.m. ET to reports of a pedestrian collision, said provincial police Sgt. Ed Sanchuk.
The pedestrian was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The 39-year old, from Haldimand County, was charged with failing to stop at an accident resulting in death.
“We’re hoping that this does give a little bit of resolution to the family,” said Sanchuk.
He added the investigation is ongoing and requested anyone who may have information contact with car accident lawyers near me
