A 36-year-old man is dead after his motorcycle lost control and struck a pole early Saturday morning.
It happened on Rosedale Valley Road near Bayview Avenue at around 2:05 a.m.
The man suffered major traumatic injuries and was rushed to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Police say speed was a factor.
