One man is dead following a serious collision involving a motorcycle in Peterborough.
Police were called to the scene of a crash near Lansdowne Street and Ashburnham Drive at around 5:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Paramedics said the victim, believed to be in his 30s, was thrown approximately 30 metres from his motorcycle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the victim’s name.
Officials say the intersection will remain closed for several hours as police conduct an investigation.
