INNISFIL, Ont. – A 58-year-old man is in serious condition in a Toronto trauma centre after his motorcycle went off the road Tuesday morning in Innisfil, Ont.
South Simcoe police say the man lost control, entered the ditch and was thrown from the motorcycle into tall grass around 7 a.m.
About half an hour later, a passing motorist noticed something in the field and pulled over to investigate.
When he walked into the field, he found the motorcyclist face down, unconscious.
Police say the man was taken to a local hospital and later airlifted to Toronto.
