A 55-year-old man has died in hospital after his motorcycle crashed on Lake Shore Boulevard near Jameson Avenue on Sunday morning.
Police say the driver lost control of a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle and struck a median before crossing into oncoming traffic on Lake Shore Boulevard at approximately 10:30 a.m.
The man was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition and later succumbed to his injuries.
Traffic along Lake Shore Boulevard was slowed down for several hours Sunday as officials closed the road between Jameson Avenue and Parkside Drive.
Traffic Services has been called in to investigate the crash.
