A man has died after a streetcar and motorcycle collided on Queen Street.
The crash occurred on Queen Street East at Hiltz Avenue, just west of Greenwood Avenue, at approximately 6 a.m. Police said the motorcyclist was travelling east when he turned left and lost control of the bike.
Paramedics were called to the scene and the motorcyclist was rushed to hospital.
He later succumbed to his injuries. The man, who has not been identified, is believed to be in his 20s.
As police investigated, all lanes of Queen were closed between Greenwood Avenue and Laing Street. The area has since reopened to traffic.
