Oshawa man, 23, killed in motorcycle collision

A 23-year-old Whitby man died early Monday morning after losing control of his motorcycle.

A blue Yamaha motorcycle was travelling westbound on Gibb Street, approaching Limerick Street in Oshawa around 2:30 a.m. when it struck a curb, police said.

Michael Potter was thrown from the motorcycle and injured.

Potter was taken to Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital, but died from his injuries.
