Paul Rusesabagina, who saved hundreds of people during the 1994 Rwandan genocide and later inspired the film “Hotel Rwanda,” was released from prison in March. He was convicted of terrorism in 2020 in a widely criticized trial. Mike Drolet speaks with Toronto filmmaker Wayne Abbott, who was given exclusive access to document Rusesabagina’s release.
