Police charge motorcyclist clocked at 200 km/h

Provincial police have charged a man with stunt driving after a motorcycle was clocked doing more than 200 kilometres per hour.

A speeding bike was spotted by a patrol aircraft Sunday afternoon on Highway 403 near Brantford, Ont., where the posted limit was 100 km/h.

Police say officers arrested the driver after he allegedly tried to hide the motorcycle off the roadway.

Keith Corbett, 35, of Delhi, Ont., had his motorcycle seized for seven days and he received a seven-day licence suspension.

Corbett is due in court today in Brantford to face charges of fleeing from police, using unauthorized plates, failing to have insurance and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
