A woman is in critical and life-threatening condition after being struck by a bus in Toronto’s east end Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Kingswood and Kingston roads, west of Victoria Park Avenue, just after 4 p.m. for a collision.
Police say the woman was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are not immediately known.
Kingston Road was closed between Scarborough Road and Bingham Avenue for the investigation. The road has since reopened.
The incident is one of the three collisions that Toronto police responded to this afternoon.
At around 4:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to Lake Shore Boulevard West and Third Street in Etobicoke after a motorcycle and another vehicle collided.
Police said a man was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police said. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
A third crash involving an e-bike and another vehicle occurred near Keele Street and Saint Regis Crescent, south of Finch Avenue West, around 5:20 p.m.

A male was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
