A woman in her 20s suffered an apparent broken back after a late night motorcycle crash on Friday.
Toronto police said the woman was riding a motorcycle at about midnight, when she was rear-ended by a vehicle while heading on a northbound exit ramp from the Gardiner Expressway onto the Don Valley Parkway.
The collision caused the woman to be thrown from her motorcycle and onto the roadway, according to police. Emergency crews rushed her to St. Michael’s Hospital, where she currently remains.
