PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Two men are facing firearm-related charges after an accident in Peterborough on Friday night.

Police say they were responding to a single vehicle collision around 8 p.m. when they realized they were dealing with more than just an accident.

One of the car’s occupants fled the scene, but was tracked down by police.

Mark Cleary, 29, of Peterborough and Keith Nolan, 36, of Richmond Hill were expected to appear in court on numerous gun charges and an impaired driving charge.

A third man, who was also inside the car at the time of the accident, remains in hospital with injuries as police continue to investigate his involvement.

All three men were allegedly wearing clothing that identifies them as supporters of the Outlaws Motorcycle Gang
