A male motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on Hwy. 401 in North York.
Paramedics were called to the scene of an accident near the exit ramp of the westbound 401 towards Keele Street just after 6 p.m.
Officers say the motorcycle was exiting the highway when it lost control and slammed into a sign.
The male driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with critical injures.
The exit ramp to Keele Street from Hwy. 401 west had been closed by police for several hours. The lanes have since been reopened.
