Retirement is feeling increasingly out of reach for most Canadians with a year of decades-high inflation behind them and rumblings of a possible recession ahead, according to a new survey from BMO. Canadians now believe they will need $1.7 million to retire, up 20 per cent from 2020’s figure of $1.4 million, the survey said.
