Police ID motorcycle rider killed in collision near Sudbury

SUDBURY, Ont. – Provincial police have identified a motorcycle rider from Sudbury who was killed in a collision with a car on the Trans-Canada Highway.

Police say 65-year-old Roger Grenier of Sudbury was killed in the collision Thursday night near Verner, about 70 kilometres east of Sudbury.

The 49-year-old driver of the car, a woman from Verner, was treated in hospital for minor injuries.

The collision remains under investigation.
