Peel Regional Police said a teenage girl is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash in Mississauga on Saturday night.
Officials said the 16-year-old girl suffered life-threatening injuries after she lost control of her motorcycle on Mississauga Road, near Dundas Street West at about 8:30 p.m.
There were no passengers and no other vehicles were involved in the collision, according to police.
Authorities said they aren’t sure how the accident occurred, but believe the driver may have hit a curb or guardrail.
The driver was taken to SickKids Hospital.
