Two people were sent to hospital after a motorcycle crashed in Markham on Wednesday morning.
The single-vehicle crash happened near the intersection of Birchmount Road and Denison Street at about 7:30 a.m.
York Regional Police say one person suffered severe head trauma after the motorcycle spun out of control. The person’s condition was not immediately known.
Another person riding on the motorcycle was also taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries.
Birchmount has been closed between McNabb and Denison Streets as police complete their investigation.
